The Flood Insurance Agency offers our clients several convenient methods in which to pay
premiums, some of which are designed to allow us to constructively receive payment and
enable us to provide immediate evidence of coverage to a mortgage lender.
We accept payment by check, money order, and electronic bank withdrawal for both FEMA/NFIP
policies and Private Market Flood policies. We also accept credit card for
FEMA/NFIP policies only. We do not accept credit cards for Private Market Flood
Payments do not constitute binding of insurance. Payments can only be accepted for
New Applications with prior underwriter approval and Renewal Offers.
Payments can be mailed or sent by overnight delivery to us at:
The Flood Insurance Agency
5700 SW 34th St.
Gainesville, FL 32608
Electronic bank withdrawal authorization allows The Flood Insurance
Agency to provide immediate evidence of flood insurance coverage to a mortgage lender.
These funds are deducted directly from your checking account in the same manner as when a
check clears through your financial institution. Insufficient funds in your
account at the time of the withdrawal will be treated the same as if a check
were returned for insufficient funds, and the flood insurance policy will be voided.
Credit cards can also be used for payment of FEMA/NFIP policies only. We accept VISA, MasterCard,
American Express, and Discover. Credit card payments can be transmitted electronically online, by fax, or
by telephone. We will attempt to notify you if your charge is not authorized by your
credit card company. Policies are not subject to cancellation for reasons other than those
set forth in the NFIP rules and regulations. In matters involving billing disputes,
cancellation is not available other than for billing error or fraud.
